Courage is the ability to do something that you have fear or do not desire to do or do a task nobody else would do. Courage can be exhibited through the simple process of being outgoing in life and assisting in causes, all while taking any risk associated with it. Courage can be exhibited through the simple task of going outside and meeting people.
My definition of courage is doing something that others may not be able to do. Courage is exhibited in daily life by simply telling someone your opinion on something, although it may not be what the majority says. It could be doing something that you are afraid of, but you still do it anyways.
My definition of courage is to be able to do things that goes against what you have been learned. A person could exhibit it by going against rules to do what is right. Or something else that not everyone is willing to do.
Courage is the ability to do something, despite being uncomfortable or afraid. For example, a person having to give a speech in front of many people may be afraid or nervous, but that person can exhibit courage by facing his/her fears and following through with said speech. Overall, a person can show courage by completing any action that requires that person to do something that makes them uncomfortable in some way.
Courage is completing a task that frightens you. It means you have mental strength to do something difficult. Someone can show courage by overcoming their fears, speaking up, performing in front of people, etc. There are so many ways to display courage, even if it is very small.
I'd say courage is being able to stand up for yourself and not to be afraid of certain things in life. Courage is what helps take away fear and replace it with bravery, because bravery is basically the result of courage.
Courage is the ability to conquer your fears in order to achieve a positive result. You can show courage by facing your fears, trying new things, or helping somebody face one of their fears.
Courage is when you are able to do something that you are dreading doing so you can receive the positive outcome. Someone can show courage by sticking up for others. Sticking up for the what is right is often looked down upon. People feel ashamed for believing in it. If you are able to overcome this fear, you are courageous and will someday be honored.
My definition of courage is to be able to stand up or against something that you have been cautious of before. Someone can exhibit courage in their daily life by standing up for what they believe in, even if it's what everyone agrees with.It could be going out and meeting new people or standing up to a bully.
Courage is being able to do something that is out of your comfort zone. You can show courage by taking risks and going out to meet new people, not staying inside your own boundaries.
Many definitions or entitlements of courage preside in the world but the one I have adopted is the willpower and self-security to act according to what your morals dictate regardless of exterior forces. A person can exemplify their courage in their existence by, for instance, speaking their mind on controversial topics without feeling inhibition by the opinions of others. Some decisions or actions may be more grandiose in magnitude, but the general principle remains the same throughout all scenarios. All acts of courage are equal in idea in the eyes of the definition.
Courage involves fighting for the rights of others in an intelligent and necessary manner. Being a helpful person. Having courage doesn't always mean putting yourself in a bad situation, it can be as simple as making good decisions.
Courage is having doing something for somebody else that you wouldn't have to do. It is doing something that may make others think less of you, but you do it because it is the right thing to do and nobody else is willing to do it.
My idea of courage is to be able to do something that others are unwilling to do. Having daily courage could be as simple as sharing your opinion or standing up for your beliefs.
What is your definition of courage? How can someone exhibit courage in his/her life?
My definition of courage is having the ability t do something even when you're scared. Anyone can display courage by doing anything outside their comfort zone.
Courage comes from the heart when you do something do not think you can do. Someone displays courage when they overcome a fear or try something new. You can even show courage by sprinting at the end of a race because you are taking a chance.
Courage is something you can have to accomplish something to make yourself, or others proud. It can be shown by anyone who is brave, and who does not care what anyone else thinks of them. There are few people that I personally know that are like this, but the people that are, or can show it, are the people you want to take after, or be like.
My definition of courage is a lot like brave or confident. Courage is standing up to something you're afraid of. Courage is being honest with people no matter the circumstance. Someone can exhibit courage in their life by overcoming their fear.
Courage is standing up for yourself or what is right even if no one else thinks it is. There are many ways to show courage in your life, you can face your darkest fears or stand up for others; like bullying. Courage takes a little faith in your life, so even believing in something can be a first step to showing courage. After you believe in that thing, you have to go out and do something about it.
Courage is being able to do something that scares you. People show their courage by facing their fears. This could make that person feel uncomfortable, however, they built up their courage and faced their fear. For example, if someone was scared of heights, and they climbed a tall ladder, they are being courageous.
My definition of courage is being able to do something that you may fear or others are not able to do and actually do it. Courage is in daily life by just having a voice, having an opinion, and swallowing your fear (no matter how bad it is) and standing up to it.
Courage is doing something that maybe you and others do not think is right, but it has to be done. I think that, yes it is possible to exhibit courage throughout your life, like stating your opinion or going to talk to someone new or maybe even being to first person to step up and present a project.
Courage is stepping up and doing something heroic even in the face of grave danger. Someone who is courageous might have fear, but they do not show it, they cause others to fear. Someone can exhibit courage by being a leader and standing out and doing the right thing while others might not be doing the same. Courage is a very broad term and can interpreted many different ways. Courage to me is facing your fears.
My definition of courage is finding the will to do something that you normally would not do, whether being out of fright or something else. Someone can exhibit courage diverse ways depending on the person. They could ride the roller coaster that they are deathly afraid of. A person could help someone in their time of need when no one else is able/wants to. Courage can be displayed through various ways.
Courage in my words is to do something that you may not necessarily want to do but having the faith and belief and bravery altogether to do it. Courage is stepping out of your comfort zone or trying something new. It's different for everyone in that something that is not considered courageous to someone could be really hard for someone else.
Courage, to me, is a trait shown by a strong individual. It is the same as bravery. Courage is when you have the strength to do something that you would normally be unwilling to do. To me, you don't want to do that something because you are afraid, and that is always the case. Doing something that you didn't want to do because you didn't like it, or because it was against your values, for a positive result, is not courage. It is just giving in to what is right. You have courage when you do something that will have a positive result, but you are afraid to do it. You may admit to doing something wrong to your parents. You may be doing what is right, but you are definitely scared of what they will say. It takes no courage to tell them without being scared, because courage is conquering some sort of fear to do something that results in a positive way.
