No, education lies in many places outside of the classroom. One could learn life lessons from the simple experience of an event in life. Learning is he simple gaining of knowledge, not the teaching of a subject.

No, I do not think that the only way to get educated is in school. People can easily learn things simply in day to day life. What you learn outside of School , maybe not be classified as academic but you are still getting knowledge from it.

Education occurs at all times. Consider a person reading a news article at home outside the classroom. That person is obviously learning new information, and thus, is being educated. Another example is simply having conversation with another individual. Often, discussion involves sharing new information. It is evident that education does occur outside the classroom.

I disagree with that statement. There is education everywhere. In the classroom, I am taught book knowledge. At home, I am taught how to live in the real world. My parents are also my teachers.

The statement is false. You can learn anywhere. You can learn academic subjects in school. But you can learn life lessons anywhere.

No because, education is basically all around you no matter where you go. Every place you go there is always something to learn.

No, education happens all the time. It occurs in a classroom setting where you learn the curriculum assigned to you. Out of school, you can keep learning by any event or experience that has happened to you. Anything your really doing involves you gaining knowledge. Education can occur at all times.

I completely disagree with this statement. In fact, I believe the opposite. You may be able to read a lot about a sport and learn how to play it, but the only way you can be good at it is to actually go outside and experience it for yourself. Textbooks are no substitute for life experience.

I disagree with this statement. We as humans are constantly learning. If you go to an Italian restaurant, you may learn how to pronounce something. When you go shopping, you learn mor about tax and saving. When you watch documentaries, you are learning about the world around you. We do learn in school, but we also learn everywhere else we go.

I disagree with this. You learn many things outside of school. When you were young and not in school yet, you learned many life long skills. Sometimes you learn daily life skills outside of school rather than in a classroom.

Obviously, education does not always take place within the classroom. People can be taught many things from a teacher. But in life, and definitely at a younger age, people learn things based off of the actions of others. If a child sees his/her older sibling helping their parent with the groceries, that younger child will learn that the action is a good habit.

Education does not only take place inside the classroom. People can learn from experiences, people, food, places, almost anything! Learning does not only happen with a pencil and paper.

I completely disagree with this statement. You can learn anywhere about anything especially in everyday life. You can learn so much about so many different things just by having a conversation with somebody new. It doesn't even have to be someone new!

I disagree with this statement. You have been educated way before you even started school as a child, and this is obvious seeing you learned how to talk and to walk and other basic things before you even stepped foot into a classroom. You are learning every moment of every day, definitely not just in a classroom.

I do not believe that. Education can happen anywhere, even outside of school. You can learn outside of school by observation and looking to find knowledge. You can learn by going on vacation to famous places, or even in day to day life. Your parents teach you manners and all the basics of life like how to eat, sleep, and brush your teeth. These are important skills you need but are not taught in school.

I disagree because yes you can learn education is the classroom but you can also learn education is your everyday environment. Your family can teach you information you might never even learn in a classroom. Your families and friends help you learn life lessons while in school you learn basic book knowledge. Just by talking to a friend you can learn something new. Learning education is not limited to the classroom.

The statement that education only takes place in a classroom setting is false. Individuals learn lessons from exposure to numerous environments with different customs and values. Also, education is provided through experience and individuals, hopefully, learn from past mistakes and improve themselves both intellectually and morally through these experiences. Information and education is shared through social interaction or self-guided endeavors that occur in various settings.

I disagree with the statement. Education occurs everywhere you go, whether it's right or wrong. You could be sitting in your living room watching a t.v. show and your mom says "Did you know that the sky is actually not blue?". That is something you learned in your living room, not in the classroom.

I definitely disagree with that statement 100%. Education occurs all the time and never stops. During a sports practice you learn. When you're at home you learn. Just talking to people allows you to learn. Everything you do will educate you in some way.

I strongly disagree with this statement. I believe that life is constantly trying to teach you something. Whether you realize the lesson or retain any helpful information is up to you. People always are learning from their rights and wrongs, dos and dont's, and wins and losses. As long as you are gaining some sort of knowledge you are being educated; whether it is about life, school, relationships in life, or whatever.

I disagree with the statement. Education occurs every day of our lives, whether we know it or not. We are taught life lessons when things don't work out right or we make mistakes. On a smaller scale, we also learn just little facts like how a friend's favorite color is blue or how the new shoes you just bought squeak a lot when you walk on tile. Learning takes place everywhere, we just have to find it.

A person can learn anywhere and anytime. In the world you learn how to interact with people and you learn social habits. As a child you are taught daily functions of life such as talking, eating, walking etc. I would say the majority of your essential education happens outside of the classroom. Many things only come to people with real life experience, something a school can not offer.

I dissagree with this statement. We all learn something new everyday. Like when my mom says something that I do not understand, I ask her what does that mean and she tells it to me. In that scenario I added a word to my vocabulary and I was not in school. At work I learn how to make change and work through everyday conflicts. There I was not in a classroom. At home I learn things from watching informational shows on television. Just the other night I was watching a show about coyotes in Chicago and how they adapted themselves to live there. In that scenario I learned about science and I was not in school either.

I thoroughly disagree with that statement. The well known statement "you learn something new everyday", is true. A person can always find something they did not know, however tiny of a piece of information or how random it may be. A parent or parental figure may be teaching you a trade, sport, instrument, etc. You may go on an educational field trip with some friends or family. There are so many ways a person can learn outside of the classroom, but that does not mean that learning inside of one is not important.

I disagree. Education in school is more about learning a subject like english or algebra, but so much more occurs outside of school. People learn who they are and what they value outside of school. They learn about the world and about their religion. You learn a lot in school, but your education is not limited to the classroom.

I strongly disagree with this statement. An educator helps us learn. Our parents helped us learn how to walk, how to talk, and even how to share. These are things we learned, whether it be from an educator outside of the classroom, or an educator inside the classroom.
