One external conflict that Hamlet has is that his uncle, the new king, killed Hamlet's father to get the throne and marry his mother. Hamlet was visited by a ghost and he is trouble by his uncle and wants to kill him.

An external conflict Hamlet has is the struggle with Claudius and Gertrude. Claudius took over as King, even though Hamlet should have. In addition, Hamlet hates how they are married and thinks its disrespectful. An internal conflict Hamlet has is the struggle for revenge that he wants because Claudius murdered his father. He has to decide how he will do this, and not go mad in the progress.

Hamlet's external conflict is the uncaring nature of his father and mother, in addition to the inconvenience that having his murderous uncle as his king creates. One internal conflict that Hamlet has is knowing that his uncle killed his father, and how his new desire for revenge is eating him away inside.

Some of the external conflicts that hamlet has is that his father is dead and the cause was his own uncle. also he is fearful of Norway wanting to attack him. He also has to deal with Ophelia ignoring him because of her father forbidding her from seeing him. Some internal conflicts that he has to deal with is if he should trust these apparitions that are coming to him, and he is struggling with who he can really trust

Hamlet is internally struggling with having to revenge his father's death and his external conflict is his father died and his uncle is now in power, his mother recently married his uncle, and Ophelia is staying away from him

Some of the external conflicts Hamlet is facing is the marriage of Claudius and Gertrude. Hamlet is also facing the fact that Polonius is refusing to let Ophelia see him. The internal conflicts Hamlet is facing are how he is going to go about avenging the death of his father and seeking revenge on Claudius. Hamlet is struggling to cope with the death of his father, while at the same time he is experiencing extreme anger and hatred towards Claudius.

An internal conflict that Hamlet has is that he wants to kill himself because his uncle killed his father and he had a deep connection with his father

Externally he has to deal with both his parents and everyone making him feel bad about his father's death and that he should be over it already. he also has the internal conflict of dealing with the fact that ophelia isn't allowed to see him and that's driving him crazy as well as the fact that he has just spoken with his father who tells him what really happened on how he died.

Hamlet is stuggling with internal and external conflicts. One external conflict is the conflict with Polonius and Othelia. Polonius told Othelia to never to see Hamlet again even though Hamlet and Othelia are lovers. An internal conflict that Hamlet is dealing with is the conflict of his father's death. He is depressed and not wanting to live.

Hamlet is battling the internal conflict of trying to revenge his father's death as well as trying to not go too far and go crazy. An external conflict that Hamlet is dealing with is trying to show others that he is crazy even though he isn't actually crazy. He is putting on a show for the people around him so that he can successfully kill his uncle. He needs to keep this plan running smoothly so no one finds out his true intentions.

EXTERNAL CONFLICT: After the death of his father, Hamlet has to deal with questionably hasty marriage between his uncle and mother. Another external conflict is that Polonius does not want him and Ophelia to see one another anymore.

INTERNAL CONFLICT: After meeting with the apparition and discovering that his father was murdered by his uncle, Hamlet suffers psychologically. He feels betrayed, shocked, horrified, and angry with what news he has heard. He needs to make decisions based on what the apparition wants, and not necessarily what he thinks is best.

One external conflict he has is the ghost of his father. It is one of the major conflict, because his father is persuading him to eliminate Cladius and also he is informing him on what happen. This cause Hamlet to get angry, mad, and show hatred against Cladius. One internal conflict he is dealing with is what to do with Cladius. In his mind he does not know how to take out Cladius and can not get his mind around that Cladius killed his own brother.

An internal conflict Hamlet has to deal with is his indecisiveness. He is constantly going back and forth with his decisions and it is affecting him. An external conflict Hamlet deals with is Claudius. He does not agree with the marriage of Claudius and his mother, and refuses to accept it. He now believes that Claudius murdered his father which makes his external conflict with Claudius even stronger.

One external conflict is his uncle who committed murder to obtain the throne and the queen as his new wife from his brother. Hamlet is angry with his uncle for doing this because he killed his own brother and Hamlet sees this new marriage as incest.

One internal conflict is his desire to commit suicide. Hamlet wants to commit suicide because it seems to him that there is nothing going right in his life right now so it is not worth living. This changes though after he sees the ghost of his father and finds out about the murder and wants to get revenge.

One external conflict that Hamlet has at the beginning of the play is if he should talk or meet with the ghost. His friends do not want him to follow it, but Hamlet has to make a choice as to whether he should follow the ghost or not. One internal conflict he has is dealing with the marriage between his uncle and his mother. He does not approve after the death of his father, not even a month earlier. He thinks his mother is not behaving appropriately, and after he learns that Claudius killed his father he sees it as an even greater wrong.

External-He no longer likes his mother for wedding his uncle so soon after his fathers death. He believed that his mother and father were very happily married and thinks she is now "common" for marrying his uncle.

Internal-He is battling how he feels about the ghost in the very beginning of the play. He does not know if the ghost is good or bad. Once he finds out that the ghost is his fathers spirt asking him to take revenge on his uncle. Hamlet decides to act mad to avenge him even though the ghost told him not to.

External- He has to act crazy to everyone, but inside he knows there is a purpose to it. He is in love with Ophelia, but no one wants him to be with her. Everyone is trying to get her away from him. Everyone is trying to get Hamlet the way he was before his father died.
Internal-He has to deal with the fact that his mother married his uncle, and the fact that the ghost told him that his uncle was the one who killed him. He can't commit suicide because it is against his beliefs. He has to deal with all those emotions of sadness and loneliness.

Hamlet has had several conflicts. His internal conflicts are about his fathers death, his mothers marriage to his uncle, and his uncle now being king. His external conflicts are about what to do to avenge his fathers death and how to deal with all the people around him.

Internally he is dealing with the the death of his father. Externally he has to deal with his uncle marrying his mother and preventing him from becoming king. - John

External: The events taking place in Hamlet's life: such as his father's death. His "incest" uncle taking over the kingdom, which is rightfully supposed to be of Hamlet and also marrying his mother a month after his father died. On the top of this, he has to deal with this ghost and the idea of getting revenge.

Internal: He is in the state of mind of confusion. He doesn't know what to do with the information the ghost gives him. The only thing he can plan he can think of is acting crazy, which I think will just cause more trouble for him. Another thing he is also having hard coping with the fact that his mom married Claudius almost immediately after Old Hamlet's death, or the fact that Claudius killed his father.

An external conflict that Hamlet faces is his corrupted uncle that killed his father and took the thrown form him. An internal conflict would be the stress that Hamlet is facing devising a plan to avenge his fathers death.

Hamlet struggles internally with both the loss of his father and the knowledge he obtained from the apparition of his father. The knowledge he received about his father's death was troubling to him because he finds out his father was murdered by his uncle Claudius. Some external struggles Hamlet deals with, are the lack of understanding his mother and uncle have for his grief of his father's death; as well as Polonius forbidding his daughter's involvement with him. When Ophelia ignores Hamlet it takes away a person whom he has a close connection with.

I believe that the apparition is both a ghost of health and a ghost of the damned because his father was murdered and did not die in peace. He is now in purgatory, but is communicating with Hamlet in a good capacity because Hamlet will be able to avenge the death of his father and put things right.

External: Most people think that Hamlet's craziness is from the apparent lack of attention from Ophelia. They think he is suffering from lovesickness and cannot function without her presence in his life.

Internal: Hamlet is battling the internal conflict of revenging his father's death. Since he is basically the only one who knows of the ghost's message, he is suffering with this information on his own.

External- Ophelia is ignoring Hamlet, and he is madly in love with her.

Internal- Hamlet now knows that his uncle, now father was the one that killed his father, he is struggling with how to go about murdering his uncle.

An external conflict would be Ophelia ignoring him and denying his love. Internally, he hates Claudius and the idea of him marrying his mother, but he loves his mother, so maybe he's not sure how to deal with that.

EXTERNAL - one external conflict is the relationship between Hamlet and his uncle. They do not get along with each other because he disagrees with the fact that his uncle married his mom right after his father died.

INTERNAL - one internal conflict is that Hamlet does not know exactly how to react to seeing his father's ghost. He is unsure if it is a good ghost or a bad ghost and he does not know how to react for sure.

The external conflict hamlet is going through is that his uncle is the new king and he kill his father to get to the throne. His internal conflict is how he has to pretend to be crazy to the people he loves like ophelia and his friends in order to get a chance to kill his uncle.
