Do you agree or disagree that remaining silent is sometimes the best choice in certain situations? Why or why not?

Yes. Sometimes things aren't your exact business and you don't know everything about that specific topic, so there really isn't any need for you to put in information or your opinion about said topic.

Yes because theres times where you should not talk over another person and or theres times where you should not always say what your thinking because it could hurt others.

I believe that occasionally silence is the correct answer because you cannot always expect a person to be reasonable when talking with you. Therefore that person may not want to hear any answer.

Yes. Sometimes people talk too much and get punched in the throat. It's usually better to stop talking before this happens.

There are situations where you sometimes just need to keep quiet. If it is going to hurt somebody's feelings or if it is not your business then I think those are times you do not need to say anything.

Being silent can sometimes be the best choice in some situations. While most times it's better to voice your opinion and speak for yourself, situations like threatening ones are different. I don't know about anyone else, but if there was a bank robbery I would not talk back to the guy with a gun.

I agree that remaining silent is sometimes the best choice. There are some situations that are complicated and sometimes saying something can make the situation worse. Saying something can also do more harm than good. Especially in a dangerous situation saying something can get you killed which is terrible.

I think that depending on the situation the staying silence is okay. If it means that you or the people you love stay out of harms way then it is okay to stay silence.

Remaining silent is not always the best choice, friendships and trust can be lost when you decide not to speak up. However, telling what happened can also result in the same way. Truly it depends on the issue, stealing the last band-aid is not as bad as cheating on your exam.

Yes, I do believe being silent is a better option in certain situations. There are times when you are in a situation where you feel a certain way about someone and feel the need to open your mouth and say something, but really you should stop yourself and ask yourself if it is something that is worth saying and if it is kind. There are times where there is no reason to be rude to someone else. I do believe that you should stick up for yourself, but just make sure that's what is actually happening in the situation.

That reminds me of "children should be seen and not heard" but by holding them back, when should they be expected to speak up for themselves? I believe you should try to speak up and make a difference. some people's minds won't changed but you won't know the outcome until you at least try.

If staying quiet has a good effect like calming violence then yes. If it does the opposite effect then you should speak up even if you get punched in the throat.

Yes because at certain times it isn't polite to talk over others and to just listen what others have to say. Also, some people don't haev a filter and just say whatever they want, which could hurt others.

I believe that most situations, can be talked through instead of using violence, but when you stay quiet you aren't helping the situation. So I believe that silence is not the right choice.

It i better to remain silent in most situations that you shouldn't have an opinion in and/or don't know what you're talking about.

Yes I think remaining silent is the best thing to do sometimes. Sometimes the stuff that you hear might not be your business or anything you should get involved in. It could cause conflict or make the situation worked.

I think that yes, sometimes you have to be silent in certain situations. I think that sometimes it's not your business to worry about other people's problems and business. You should just worry about you only.

I think that in certain situations it's better to remain silent, especially if saying something is going to make the situation worse in any way. Sometimes, the situation might not even include you, so in situations like that, it really isn't your place to say anything anyways.

Yes sometimes its better to keep silent, because if you hear rummors you shouldn't spread them but if someone is in trouble and you hear something about it then you should say something.

Yes i agree that remaining silent is the right thing to do in certain situations. Sometimes interrupting it isn't the right thing to do.
