I believe that the murder of ing Hamlet is what caused the tragedy of Hamlet as it was what started everything. Everything bad can be traced back to the murder of Hamlet's father.

I believe the tragedy of the play can be traced to the murder of King Hamlet. As a result of the murder, all of the tragedy began taking place.

I think what caused the tragedy of the play Hamlet was the King dying. I think this because after seeing the ghost Hamlet starts acting crazy and things get out of control.

i believe that all of the tragedy in the play was caused by Claudius killing king Hamlet. That triggered hamlet to seek revenge and in the end they all died anyways

I think that the cause of the tragedy was when King Hamlet died. After the king died then things started to take place, such as the revelation that Claudius was the one who murdered him. From that point on the tragedy began and characters came to their demise.

I believe the Ghost of Hamlet's dad caused the tragedy. I say this because without the ghost, Hamlet would have never known how his father died. He would still be bitter towards his uncle but there would be no need for revenge in Hamlet's mind. The Ghost should have known that Hamlet was not ready for revenge and should have waited but instead told Hamlet. This is what I believe started the tragedy because without the ghost there is no revenge and revenge is what started this tragedy.

I believe that the murder of King Hamlet caused the tragedy of the play because then Hamlet wouldn't have had to get revenge and things wouldn't have gone out of control.

I think that the tragedy had started with the King's death. Once the king had passed away, it lead to everyone else's death. Once Hamlet saw the ghost and it asked to get revenge, it was down hill from there.

I think what caused the tragedy and the entire plot of the story revolved around Claudius killing King Hamlet. If Claudius didn't kill King Hamlet the whole play wouldn't have happened. I also think the ghost coming back to make Hamlet get revenge also caused the tragedy to occur.

I believe the tragedy was cause by the King dying. Everything can be related back to the king and why claudius is king and why hamlet wants him dead. And why he goes crazy and accidently stabs polonius and then laetes wants to kill him. And then they all die.

i think the murder of king hamlet caused the tragedy. Hamlet wasnt able to seek his revenge on hamlet the way he wanted it to happen.

Cara Gibson-
I believe that the tragedy of Hamlet could link all the way back to when his dad (King Hamlet) was killed. Once Hamlet found out that Claudius was to blame, he devised a lot of plans- which led other characters to their downfall as well- including Ophelia, Polonius, and Laertes. None of this would have happened if Hamlet's dad was still the king.

well...everyone died. Earlier in this play when King Hamlet came to Hamlet we learned that King Hamlet did not get the chance to repent for his sins. When he came to Hamlet he was portrayed as a scary being representing his eternal life being spent in hell. In my opinion the real tragedy at the end of this play was that the people that died never got a chance to repent their sins, so they are spending their eternal life with King Hamlet in hell.

The death of king hamlet was the biggest tragedy because it sparked everything :)

I think what caused the tragedy is the early marriage of Gertrude and Hamlet's Uncle. Had they not been married I feel it would have been easier for Hamlet to kill Claudius but since they were married Hamlet felt bad and did not want it to affect his mother or make her sad in any way.

All of the events that occurred in this play were because of the actions of Claudius. He poisoned his brother and killed the beloved king, and by doing so, he sent Hamlet into a depressed spiral which only caused harm for everyone in the end. If Claudius would've left it all alone in the first place and been a better person and brother, there would be many still alive and happy.

The real tragedy of the play was when King Hamlet was murdered. this began all of the problems. It did not help the situation that the Ghost of King Hamlet was putting hamlet in a bad situation. He did not know what to do and it caused the tragedy.

The story starts off with the murder of Hamlets father and his father’s ghost calling out for revenge. Hamlet may be a hero to some, but in reality he has no friends. Hamlet struggles in relationship with women. He rejects Ophelia and after her father's death, then she commits suicide. The story deals with revenge, deep thoughts within characters and emotion. Revenge only leads to many deaths in the book. In the end no one in the play ever found happiness. Therefor Hamlet is a tragedy.

I believe that the tragedy involving Hamlet was caused from his mother Gertrude marring his Uncle Claudius and what caused him to go crazy was him learning that his Uncle killed his father, King Hamlet.
