I think Hamlet is feeling overwhelmed with this task of killing his Uncle. He has already ignored the ghosts warning in not acting crazy and yet thats the first thing he is planning on doing. I think he is also feeling angry at his uncle and wants to get rid of him as soon as possible.

Hamlet is still angry and upset. He decides that he is going to act crazy to justify killing the man who killed his father he probably isn't in the best state of mind.

I believe that Hamlet is feeling annoyed with his people because of the party that is going on under him and angry because he is being told that his uncle killed his father and then took his throne. Currently he his planning his way to kill Claudius due to what his fathers ghost told him to do.

I believe he is still very angry at his uncle. Even more now that the ghost told Hamlet that his uncle killed him. I also believe that Hamlet feels happy because he probably knew that Cladius killed his father. So he's eager to kill Claduius.

I believe that Hamlet after finding out that Claudius killed his dad is very mad and filled with anger. I think he wants to in a sense kill Claudius for killing is dad. I also think that Hamlet is still emotional and a bit depressed that his father did die. He is emotional and follows the ghost even though it may lead to danger because he doesn't really care anymore. Poor Ham.

Hamlet is very pissed off and decides he just wants to kill the man who killed his father. He's gonna act very wild to justify this.

I think Hamelt is having very strong hatred and anger towards his uncle now that he knows how his father died. He is trying to figure out how he is going to kill his uncle. Also, he is still feeling very emotional about his fathers death.

I think he is feeling very angry. He is not just angry at what happened to his dad but at how his mom went on to marry his uncle. He is thinking going after Claudia is going against who he is. But he is also thinking that he needs to so he can get revenge and because his dad insisted he get revenge. I think he feels obligated now even though that will show a different side of him. I also think that he is angry enough at the events that it will not be very hard for him to accomplish.

At the beginning of the scene, he is still frustrated still with the situation.
He is in a way desperate to talk to this ghost who might be a father. He is then shocked and hurt to find out that his father was killed by his uncle. He then is in a way motivated and angry to be able to get revenge for his father.

I believe Hamlet is feeling frustrated and confused, but eventually learns to accept the situation as the play continues. He thinks he needs to act differently in order to talk to the ghost. He is still surprised by the fact that his father was killed by his uncle. He is also feeling revengeful towards his uncle, but is to leave his mother alone.

Hamlet is holding in a lot of anger. Anger directed especially towards his uncle. He hatches a plan to act crazy in order to get away with his revenge. He will avenge his father even if that means to go to an extreme of killing him. An eye for an eye. Soon Hamlets uncle will come face to face to Hamlets wrath.

Hamlet may be feeling confused about everything that is going on. He might also be feeling overwhelmed. I feel like Hamlet may be feeling confused because who would have thought that the ghost of your father would show up in front of you one day? Who would have thought that you would be able to have contact with your own father after his own death? He might also be feeling confused because he has just found out how his father really died; which might also bring on his feeling of anger. I mean, if i found out that my new father killed my real father by a poisening, i'd be pretty angry too. I said that Hamlet may be feeling overwhelmed because theirs a ghost, someone from a whole different realm, a whole different universe, standing in front of him saying that it's his dead father. Obviously, Hamlet is also feeling overwhelmed because recently his father has died and his own mother married his uncle whom just killed his father. I don't know about you, but that seems very overwhelming. He may also be feeling like he needs to seek revenge, especially after the ghost told him too.

Karissa Morder: Hamlet is still upset about his dad being murdered by his uncle who is now his step dad. He is mad that everyone else thinks that he died from a snake bite, when in reality he died by poison from his brother Claudius. He will do what his father has asked him and kill his uncle but leave his mom alone because eventually she will feel the guilty. Hamlet is full of emotions and doesn't want anything to do with his uncle. He doesn't understand why this all has happened to him.

I think Hamlet has just gone crazy because he saw a ghost. Even if he says he will pull some antics, and act insane as an excuse for the murder, he might not be 100% acting. Hamlet has a lot going on in his life, and now that he came face to face with a ghost, it might have just pushed him over the edge.

At this point, his grief is not only reiterated but has taken the form of vengeance. He is filled with anger towards his uncle and towards his mother, an anger so powerful that it convinces him that the only way to avenge his fathers death is to go insane. He is probably fearful as well for an apparition is not a natural thing, so of course he is going to take his fathers wishes seriously and act on his anger.

Hamlet is feeling a lot of emotions about his fathers death. He has a lot of grief and anger and believes the right way to seek revenge on his fathers murder is to kill Claudius. He plans on doing this by "acting" insane.

Hamlet seems to be almost desperate to talk to the ghost, and when he hears his he is very scared. Then he seems to be upset when he finds out how his father died, which then turns into anger. -Christian Grant
